Skis, boots, boards and helmets were all fitted that afternoon ready for the next day’s adventures. However next morning as expected we awoke to snow – heavy snow! This was no deterrent to Helston who enjoyed a great first day given the conditions.
As expected Day 2 followed suit with more heavy snow but this gave fantastic conditions on and off piste! Visibility in the tree lined runs was very good, it also led to the fast becoming legendary quote “…it’s like skiing off-piste but on-piste!”
The fantastic food at the Osso Bianco supplied by Lorenzo and his team was keeping the guys well fuelled though!
When the much anticipated Day 3 arrived it was as we had all hoped – blue skies! Rapid progress was being made in the lessons now and the great weather today helped this.
Day 4 and we took a trip over to the Olympic resort of Sestriere with had even better weather! The view from the top of the Borgata area was amazing!
And so finally we arrived at Day 5 our last day…and even the buildings were sad to see us go!
