Welcome to Rayburn Tours, where the art of creating completely tailored school trips has been our forte since 1965. We deliver international school trips across multiple subjects, disciplines, and departments, meaning our experience and skills, are perfectly structured to offer an elevated level of support to EVC’s, and senior leaderships teams and visit leaders.

Today, our family business has grown to over 100 people employees who set out to craft trips for some 30,000 passengers every year, that are fresh, exciting, and unforgettable!

We have a wealth of knowledge in our teams to select destinations that are just perfect for combining learning experiences for students across multiple subjects. It’s an art that we have perfected, tailoring itineraries covering multiple subjects in one trip. A more diverse experience, with greater opportunities for students to travel, and overall encouraging inclusivity.

 

Our Accreditations

The Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Badge is a national accreditation assuring you that you can be confident in the quality of the educational experiences we provide, linking experiences back to curriculum.

The School Travel Forum (STF) provides a benchmark for best practice in school travel. As founding members of the STF, we understand and facilitate the need of educational travel and manage safety effectively.

Being an ABTA member ensures that in the unlikely event of a tour operator failure, your money is financially protected. If on tour, assistance will be available to ensure the tour can be completed, and you are returned home.

The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides financial protection under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for Rayburn Tours 5508BTOT

ATOL is a legal requirement and, when booking a flight tour, ATOL membership ensures that in the unlikely event of a tour operator failure, your money is financially protected and can be recouped.

C-Level gives us the chance to be greener as carbon balancing means we can balance our emissions with sponsored green initiatives from around the world.

Dedicated Support & Specialist Teams

Each and every tour we create has two specialist central points of contact.

Tour Consultant

They will work with you in the initial stages of planning, designing your proposal, advising on the destination best suited to meet your tour objectives and supporting you in the sign off stages of the trip and launching to parents.

Tour Co-ordinator

Many of our Tour Coordinators are linguists and will have intimate knowledge of your tour destination. By working in partnership with you, your school and our suppliers, they’ll fine tune all elements of your itinerary, logistics and reservations. They’ll support you every step of the way.

Key Account Manager

Our Key Accounts Manager acts as a central point of contact. Offering a heightened level of support to EVC’s and Senior Leadership Teams, for planning and advice when a school has a more intense programme of touring.

Transportation

We are one of few tour operators that have a qualified and dedicated transport and aviation department. Our teams have built a strong network of coach, ferry and flight providers to ensure we are able to manage and meet the strict safety compliance requirements as set out by the STF and LOTC. Through ongoing maintenance of these relationships, we are able to secure the best routes and rates on behalf of your school.

Product

We have structured our business to integrate a centralised product department, who together have the combined responsibility for securing and contracting the very best accommodation and excursion providers for all our tours. Compliance with STF regulations, adhering to a strict audit process with suppliers and also compliance with LOTC guidelines is pivotal, enabling us to facilitate broad ranging tailored trips and itineraries across our portfolio of international destinations.

24 Hour Support

We offer a dedicated 24-hour emergency telephone support for group leaders while out on tour. One of our fully trained experts at Rayburn Tours will be at the other end of the line to assist with any emergencies or issues that occur. We want to make sure that tour planning is as simple as possible before, during and after by offering support throughout. So, if you need to contact us on tour, we’re just a phone call away!
